JACK AND JEWELZ
Jack and Jewelz is a collaboration of a mother-daughter team. As a certified gemologist, I have always had a passion for jewelry. For years, I have been creating custom, bespoke, high-end diamond jewelry. As the mother my beautiful and talented daughter, Jewel, I knew it was only time before she would start to look and ask for an opportunity to be involved in the process of jewelry design. She has had a love and passion for jewelry from as long as I can remember. One day recently during this pandemic, she came to me and asked if we could start our own jewelry line for kids, with the intent of helping others along the way. That was the day, Jack and Jewelz was born. We are working together creating designs for children at a price point that appeals to parents.
Jewel has always been a special child. From the moment that she was born, she beamed a special light. At 1 ½ years old, she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Her battle started young, but she has never backed down from the fight. Jewel has always been a brilliant and driven child. Now, at the age of nine, she is starting to recognize what having an autoimmune disease means, and she is starting to learn to talk about it. Already, I am so proud of her maturity, strength, and growth she’s shown by sharing her story with others.
This jewelry line is one area where she is hoping to showcase her voice and share her talents to the world. I have always known she was destined for something great. We are creating jewelry that both, children and parents can appreciate together.
As a part of our venture, we will also be donating a portion of the proceeds to help fund research into rheumatoid arthritis and other associated autoimmune conditions. We want to leave the world with a little more sparkle and hope that to brighten the lives of those in need as well. Jack and Jewelz was born during this pandemic and has brought us closer and we are so excited to share our designs and story with you.
